Claude Vaughn, an owner of Captain Claude’s Kitchen, is a professional fishing Captain in the Gulf of Mexico. While being gone for work took up much of his time, he was looking at a way to put his love for seafood to use and be able to spend more time with his family.

Claude and his wife Crystal had the grandest idea of opening a seafood truck here in Cullman. The two have 3 boys with a great work ethic and enjoy helping mom and day, so what better way to spend quality time than to have a family seafood affair.

Based out of Hanceville, Captain Claude’s Kitchen is typically set up at Chambers Farm & Garden Supply Wednesday through Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M., with select days at different events and festivals throughout the county.

You will undoubtedly want to stop by Captain Claude’s Kitchen for a great catch if you love fantastic seafood. Serving shrimp, chicken, and grouper, Claude will make your tastebuds want to come back again and again. Although the shrimp and chicken are amazing, the grouper is Cullman Daily’s go-to favorite. Also, test out their homemade cole slaw on a sandwich and key lime pie as a refreshing dessert.

Keep an eye out for updated location times and hours on Captain Claude’s Kitchen Facebook page. Again, most days, you can find them frying up seafood at Chambers Farm & Garden Supply, located at 404 Mcnabb Rd SW, right off Highway 278.
