The City of Hanceville will be jamming this weekend as they have a busy schedule planned for its area’s citizens. The City of Hanceville will be hosting its Inaugural Hanceville Bull Bash. The City intends to make the event an annual event to raise money for the City’s Park and Recreation department. 

On Friday night, the activities will begin with the Parade of the Bulls. The parade will start at 5 PM on Commercial Street at the Main Street intersection and go all the way to Church Street. Make sure you arrive early to guarantee you get the best spots for this free event. 

Following the Parade of the Bulls, the city will be hosting a Barbecue Dinner with the Cowboys at the city’s civic center. Seating is limited, but tickets can be purchased online at eventbrite.com for $12. 

On Saturday, Wallace State will be hosting the 24th Annual Antique Tractor Show. The tractor and engine show will begin at 9 AM and last most of the day. Activities include slow races, skillet throwing contests, peddle tractor races and the parade of power. 

Following the tractor show, goers can head to CW Day Park to attend the inaugural Bull Bash. Gates open at 5 PM and will begin at 7 PM. Attendees are encouraged to bring a stadium chair to sit in the bleachers or a lawn chair if they prefer. The rodeo is 2 hours of non-stop action. Watch as cowboys compete to be the big winner to conquer the bulls! The adrenaline-fueled night has two hours of bull riding and crazy antics in stock.

Alcohol will be sold at the event, and a portion of the funds will help families of fallen and disabled service members.
