The #14 Miami Hurricanes, led by Quarterback D’Eriq King, traveled to Atlanta with high hopes of taking down the #1 mighty Crimson Tide. However, Alabama dominated the beginning until the end of the game.
First-year starting quarterback for Alabama, Bryce Young lived up to his hype. Young was 27/38 with 344 yards and four touchdowns. Brian Robinson Jr. led the Crimson Tide on the ground with 60 yards on twelve carries, followed by Trey Sanders 8/41, Jase McClellan 9/36, and Roydell Williams 6/18.
Alabama Receivers had a stellar game in the air. Jameson Williams led the Tide with four catches for 126 yards. John Metchie 6/76, Cameron Latu 3/43, Slade Bolden 3/26, JoJo Earle 2/25, Javon Baker 3/21, Jace McClellan 3/15, Traeshon Holden 1/12, Jacoby Boykins 1/9, and Brian Robinson Jr. 2/0.
The Crimson Tide finished the game with 353 passing yards, 154 rushing yards, for a total of 507 offensive yards. Defensively, the Tide gave up 248 yards to Miami. Holding the Hurricanes to 179 passing yards and 69 rushing yards.
Alabama will be home next Saturday to host Mercer. Kickoff time set for 3:00 P.M.
