Robert R Taylor Jr. (50), Owner of Integrity Auto Group in Cullman, was arrested Tuesday, July 13th, for Theft of Property 1st degree Attempted, and 2nd Degree Forgery, both of which are felony charges.
Sergeant Chuck Shikle, Sergeant Chris Thomason, and Lieutenant David Nassetta with the Cullman Police Department executed the two warrants on Taylor at his place of business after a two-month investigation into the allegations. Sergeant Shikle said approximately two months ago, a report was filed with the Cullman Police Department. After a thorough investigation, the evidence was sufficient to obtain two warrants and effectively execute the warrants.
Taylor is being accused of forging a bill of sale on a 1950 Chevrolet pickup truck to become the vehicle owner illegally. Taylor is also accused of attempting to sell the 1950 model Chevrolet pickup but was unsuccessful. The 1950 Chevrolet belongs to a Hartselle resident and has since been returned to the rightful owner.
