A little after 8:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 12th, George “Wally” Williams (34) and Bridget Williams (30), both of Hanceville, were traveling on I65 in Montgomery when the Harley-Davidson motorcycle they were riding lost control and hit a cable barrier that ran alongside the interstate. The crash occurred near mile marker 164, and they were both pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Williams leaves behind two beautiful children, Lily and George. On June 5th, Bridget shared a post to her Facebook page that said, “If I pass away unexpectedly, remind my kids every time you see them how much I love them and how I would do anything in this world for them. This is all I want.” The Williams obviously loved their children a tremendous amount and wants you always to share their memories with their children as they grow. Bridget and Wally are the type of parents that would encourage you to hug your children because you don’t know when that last hug may come. Tell them you love them because it could be the last time they ever hear those words from you. Cherish and make memories with your children so they can always have those everlasting memories.
Please keep the Williams family, friends, and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Pray for peace, wisdom, and guidance over Lily and George. May Wally and Bridget rest in peace.
