The Cullman Bearcats Track and Cross Country Team is one of Alabama’s top programs, and there is a good reason. Coach Trent Dean and his team put a tremendous amount of work in so they can compete with anyone in the state. It was no surprise that Cullman would have three outstanding track stars sign to continue their athletic ability and academics with a college.

Seniors, Tess Heaton and Reid Huddleston, signed with Wallace State Community College to further their careers. Respectively, both runners will compete in Cross Country, coached by Tony Crider. Wallace State has a fantastic Cross Country program as a junior college. In fact, many runners from Wallace State go on to compete in Division 1 after finishing with the Loins.

Bernarda Tizapa signed to continue her career with the Warhawks of Louisana Monroe. Tizapa will compete in Cross Country and Track & Field. J.D. Malone coaches the Warhawks, and they are part of the Sunbelt Conference. Coach Malone is looking to have Tizapa make an impact when she steps on the Monroe campus.
