The Hanceville Bulldogs Baseball team has been hard at work since the first official day of baseball practice and looking to make a deep run in Class 4A. The Bulldogs are scheduled to open their season next Monday, February 15th, against the Priceville Bulldogs.

Hanceville Head Coach Michael Chandler knows the road ahead will be challenging with non-region games like Dothan, and the number 7th ranked West Point Warriors. The 4A Region 11 schedule is no breeze that consists of Curry and Good Hope. Chandler knows his team can compete every time they step onto the field, and he is excited about the season.
“We are excited. We all were humbled last year with the way it ended. I think we realize how blessed we are to be able to get together and compete. We know we have a lot to improve on. We want to peak at the right time, so we will get better every day and control the things we can control and not worry about the things we can’t. I really like this group of guys, and I’m excited to see them come together.” said Chandler

Senior standout Barrett Hardin is ready for opening day after the 2020 season was cut short. “We are all very excited about this season. We have been working very hard since the first day the season opened.”

Good Luck to the Hanceville Bulldogs in their 2021 baseball season.
