The National Weather Service in Birmingham has rated the Fultondale, AL tornado as an EF-3 with max peak winds of 150 MPH and a Max Width of 30 Yards. The tornado injured 30+ and caused 1 fatality. The survey is still preliminary, but a change in Rating is not anticipated according to NWS Officials.
