At approximately 10 P.M. Tuesday evening, Cullman Police Department was called about gunshots being fired in the area of Rosemont Ave and 12th Way. This is in the area of the west side Cullman Police Department Station and the west side housing authority.
When Officers arrived on the scene, they were able to locate shell casings and discovered minor damage to the west side police station.
A witness noticed a tan-colored sedan leaving the area at the time when shots were fired. Cullman Police Captain Gene Bates said no one was in the building when shots were fired, and no injuries were reported.
