The Cullman County Republican Executive Committee held its monthly meeting on Tuesday, October 6th. During the meeting, local Attorney Champ Crocker presented a resolution supporting President Donald Trump’s Supreme Court Justice nominee Judge Amy Coney Barrett.
Cullman County Republican Chairman, Steve Cummings, opened the floor for discussion, and committee members voted unanimously in support of the Resolution. The Resolution will now be sent to the United State Senate Judiciary Committee for consideration.
“The Resolution speaks for itself, but I will say, as a lawyer, my clients face judges’ decisions every day. It is critical to have judges who respect the rule of law, especially those with a lifetime appointment. Knowing Judge Barrett’s background and qualifications, I was honored to help with this Resolution. But it was the committee as a whole who passed it, and now the Resolution will be sent to the United States Senate for consideration.” – Champ Crocker
