It was no surprise to see over 30 Wal-Mart Distribution Center employees at Memory Gardens this morning cleaning the cemetery. Wal-Mart DC has made this an annual tradition for the last several years as their “Day of Caring” outreach with United Way of Cullman. Roughly 50 additional employees will be back tomorrow to finish the job and make sure the cemetery is in tip-top shape.
“It is an honor to be out here year after year, giving back to the community. Our employees have put in a tremendous amount of work through the pandemic and to see them come and volunteer on their off day speaks volumes. We all enjoy being part of United Way’s “Day of Caring” and look forward to continuing the tradition for years to come.” said Wal-Mart DC Manager Ken Caviness
Thank you, Wal-Mart Distribution Center #6006, for your outstanding generosity.
