The U.S. Marshalls arrested Carson Peters who is suspected of murdering three in the Decatur area Sunday evening.
The three deceased victims have been identified as: 55-year-old James Edward Miller of Lacey’s Springs, 54-year-old Teresa Lynn Peters of Danville, and 50-year-old Tammy Renee Smith of Danville.
There has been a manhunt for Peters following the shootings. It is suspected April Hanner was his accomplice and believed she was helping Peters avoid the police. The U.S. Marshalls, Morgan County Sheriff’s Office, ALEA, Decatur Police Department, and many other agencies were involved in the search. You can run but you can’t hide for long.
Peters was arrested and now in custody of the Decatur Police Department. April Hanner has been located and arrested in Piedmont, Alabama.
