After much speculation questioning if graduations would even be possible this year, Superintendent Shane Barnette did an all-call to County Schools earlier today that stated graduations would be held on May 23rd at 6 pm in each high school’s football stadium, ensuring that local seniors would get a much deserved face-to-face commencement ceremony after their final year of school was cut short.
The announcement came after Governor Ivey announced that the Safer at Home order will expire on May 22nd.
