Daniel Mann (30) of Vinemont was found dead at the Economy Inn after the room he was in went up in flames. A call went out early Thursday morning that smoke was visible from a room at the Economy Inn on highway 31 north.
A Cullman County Sheriffs Deputy was the first on the scene followed quickly by the Cullman Fire Department and Cullman Police Department. Cullman Fire Department made entry and was able to extinguish the blaze. Once the fire was extinguished, Mr. Mann’s body was found. Investigator Intae Suh with the Cullman Police Department said the cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
