Morgan County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a white Dodge Charger for traffic violations in the vicinity of Hwy 67 and Indian Hills Rd in Decatur.
Deputies made contact with the driver, identified as Berenice Suaste Robledo of Cullman. During the stop, a Morgan County K9 Deputy made a positive indication to the presence of the odor from illegal narcotics.
The Deputies conducted a subsequent search and located over 2 pounds of methamphetamine hidden in a box in the trunk of the vehicle. The Morgan County Drug Enforcement Unit(MCDEU) was notified and agents responded to the scene.
MCDEU Agents arrested Berenice Suaste Robledo, 21 of Cullman for Trafficking in Methamphetamine and transported to the Morgan County Jail. Robledo’s bond was set at $150,000.00.
