After an overnight manhunt, Preston Johnson was taken into custody after allegedly shooting a Kimberly Police Officer on I65. The incident happened near mile marker 281. The officer was transported to a Birmingham hospital. The officers was initially in critical condition when they arrived to the hospital.
Preston Cheyenne Johnson was arrested earlier this morning and charged with Capital Murder of a Police Officer.
