Cullman, Ala. – January 10, 2020 – Attorney Heath Meherg of the law firm of Griffith, Lowry & Meherg provides the following statement on behalf of the Cullman County Fair Association:
Approximately one week ago the Cullman County Fair Association discovered that an individual had misappropriated a substantial amount of funds belonging to the Association. After a preliminary investigation by the Association, this matter was referred to local law enforcement. At this time, the Association will not comment on the amount of funds or the identity of the suspect.
The Association is working with law enforcement in this matter. Until the investigation is complete, the Association cannot provide any further details.
