The 2020 election ballot is set and full of Republicans in all local elections. There were no Democrats that qualified for the 2020 local elections.

The Cullman County Chairman race will be a highly anticipated race with a big field of Republicans. Incumbent Kenneth Walker will take on Philip Widner, Wiley Kitchens, and Jeff “Clem” Clemons.

Incumbent Gene Sullins will go up against Wayne Willingham in the West Point/Harmony School Board race.

Barry Willingham will go unopposed and continue his reign as Revenue Commissioner. Congratulations on a job well done.

Heath Allbright “Holly Pond” and Wayne Myrex “Cold Springs” will go unopposed in their respective races. These guys have given their all for Cullman County Schools.

Local Attorney Melvin Hastings qualified at the last minute to take on former Lt. Gov Steve Windoms wife Mary Windom in a statewide election for Court of Criminal Appeals. The Honorable Mary Windom is the incumbent in this race.

The Primary Election will be March 3rd and any runoff will be March 31St. Good luck to all the candidates.
