Merchant’s Bank has been hosting an annual golf tournament for over 25 years to give people an opportunity to help local non-profits achieve their missions, and overall simply create a better Cullman. Over the years, Merchants has helped raise over 1 million dollars for local charities and non-profit organizations. We had a chance to speak with Merchants Bank representative Clark Rainwater shortly after the tournament.
“It takes a large group giving a tremendous effort to make it work.” said Rainwater “A gentlemen told me a long time ago that playing golf on a Monday and not working is a fun thing do, but it’s the right thing to do.”
