Merchants Bank hosted their annual golf tournament for charity yesterday, and it was no surprise to see these guys making another appearance.
Buddy Shear and John McPhillips, both local to Cullman, have come out and participated in this tournament 25 out of the 26 years it’s been played.
“I think it’s limited to 144 players, so when he sends that thing out [to register], we send our names in immediately. It’s supporting local charities so that’s why we’re so interested in it, to help these guys give to the community. And we look forward to coming out to it every year, Merchants Bank is as good as it gets.”
