Jaylen Hughey, Tailback, from Cullman High School received his first D1 offer from Florida Atlantic.
Cullman Daily had the opportunity to speak with Jaylen on how it feels to get that first offer.
“Receiving my first division 1 offer from Florida Atlantic is such a blessing! It feels unreal, everything I have worked for my whole life is finally paying off. This has always been one of my biggest goals in life because, I have had several people in my family have the opportunity to do something special at the next level but, get caught up with the wrong people and get caught up with the wrong things. It is also a relief to me because I know my mother will not have to worry about paying for my education. It is truly a blessing but, this is only the beginning, I have a lot of work to do!”
