Cullman, Ala – Saturday night, August 24, 2019, Cullman County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) deputies responded to a civil disturbance in the city of Good Hope after receiving a 911 call that an individual, later identified as Mr. Gregory Stuart Adams, 52 of Cullman, had shot multiple times at the former motorcycle club in the city of Good Hope and had fled the scene.
CCSO deputies and investigators arrived on scene to learn that the suspect, Mr. Adams, had been a former member of the club and not long after arriving Saturday night he began to argue with current members and they ask him to leave. The members thought the suspect, Mr. Adams, had left the premises so some of them began to leave as well, then at that time they saw Mr. Adams start shooting in their direction. The members, including women and children, ran for safety and took cover until the gunshots were over.
A short time later, Mr. Adams made his way to the CCSO Detention Center lobby where he wanted to speak with deputies and seek medical treatment from injuries he allegedly received from club members after the shooting. Mr. Adams was transported to the Cullman County Detention Center.
Mr. Adams was arrested for Shooting into an Occupied Building/Dwelling. Mr. Adams has made bond. Other charges may be pending.
