Decatur, Ala – On August 21, 2019, at approximately 10:48 p.m., the Decatur Police Department responded the area of Gordon Drive SW and 2nd Avenue SW, in reference to a shooting investigation.
Officers were able to make contact with a victim, who had multiple gunshot wounds, which were non-life threatening.
Through the course of the investigation, the suspect was identified as 25-year-old Joshua Aaron Garner-Banks.
Detective Sean Mukaddam assumed the investigation and warrants were obtained to arrest Garner-Banks, charging him with robbery in the first degree and assault in the second degree.
The Decatur Police Department is in need of assistance in locating Garner-Banks.
