The fire has been put out and all units back in service. The fire started during the early morning hours. There were several 55-gallon drums that exploded making the fire difficult for the Cullman Fire Department. The CFD was able to contain the fire and quickly get it under control. This could have been worse than what it was but with the expertise of our local fireman, they were able to keep the fire controlled.
There was one fireman that suffered heat exhaustion but was check and released without having to be transferred to the hospital. No other injuries were reported.
Thank you to Cullman Fire and Rescue for your quick response and bravery. Without you, this could have been a major disaster.
